Currently, I am living alone but, in my family, there was no set rule for responsibilities. Both of my parents were working and therefore, whoever came early cooked my sisters and me meal and other household chores were divided among all of us. One house help was there to look after us when nobody was around. But still I saw my mother working more than my father because even though the responsibility was shared, when she was home, she used to do most of the housework while my father took care of all the bills. But recently things have changed as my sisters being working moms mostly pay the bills and even, I manage my own bills and household chores and definitely does not need another person’s care.
